The Ballard Family Annual "JAM"

Welcome to THE BALLARD FAMILY and Friends

    The Ballard family is a talented family of musicians and singers and performers of all ages. They have been having this jam for 25 years. The Ballard Jam is a day when family and friends and people from the neighborhood come and see each other, talk and laugh, dance and have a good time. There are games to play and plenty of good music to listen too and food to eat. The Ballard Jam encourages people of all ages to pursue their dreams as musicians and artists and reminds them to have fun and to give back to the community.
    The Ballard family home has been a rehearsal place for many musicians threw out the years who have went on to play with famous artists such as, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, The Delfonics, and Sergio Mendez, Bill Withers, Steve Wonder , Berry White, The Supremes, Snoop Dog, The Whispers the list goes on and on. One purpose of the Ballard Jam is to encourage kids, new young artists and musicians allowing them to jam and perform with seasoned and well known artists. By doing so it helps young artist or musicians sharpen their skill performing with a live band and various musicians, making connections and in some case a mentor or teacher. For the smaller kids to see and hear real live musician up closes at an early ages is a real good thing. We never know? The next Michael Jackson or Miles Davis could be running around here at the Ballard Jam! Every year we all have a good time.                               The Ballard Family Jam is a non-profit social event.

  We do our best each year to make everyone feel at home and more than welcome. We have a place for the children to play in the front. There are games, and a jumper to keep them more than occupied. We also encourage the children to participate in the jam itself. We have had children to sing, dance and even sometimes play a musical instrument (if previously trained) or play percussion. We provide food and drinks for all who attend. About 300 welcome participants enjoy The Ballard Family Jam in a one day event. We love giving the Jam each year. We do need your help.

We have been giving this event for 25 years successfully. We invite the community and others come from all over. We look forward to seeing and talk to all  our guess each year. Thank You for all your support.
